Positano is an ancient sea village that thanks to the mildness of its climate and its beauty it was the holiday resort of the noblest and wealthiest of the ancient Romans. Originally the primary resource was the fishing but afer the first half of the last century the fishing village has become the pearl of the Amalfi Coast and one of the first tourist attractions in Italy. The peculiarity of Positano is the amazing “vertical building”: its houses climbs up the cliff and slope gently towards the blue sea. Positano is also an important fashion center, in fact the picturesque tiny roads of the village, well as being very attractive for a relaxing walk, are full of typical clothes and footwear shops, ideal for a shopping time.
